INAUGURAL WORKSHOP AT THE KOLLING INSTITUTE 2017
The inaugural workshop at the Kolling Institute on the 24th November 2017 brought together clinicians from the Musculoskeletal discipline and biomedical engineers from the University of Sydney to brainstorm solutions to clinical problems in musculoskeletal disorders. This half day meeting featured clinicians who presented clinical issues seeking solutions using technologies to be developed by Biomedical engineers. The one on one interaction and breakout sessions to discuss these problems in more detail resulted in new research projects at the ARC training centre for innovative bioengineering. The Centre has strong links to industry and seeks to continue developing these links with both clinicians and industry through these workshops.
